Vicky Donor Hindi Movie Review : Full Of Fun

When was the last time you saw a Bollywood comedy that made you chuckle and smile for two hours? When was the last time you saw a funny film that you wished wouldn’t end? When the last time you saw a film where every actor in a big or small role simply sparkled on screen?

Vicky Donor is original and thoroughly engaging. It makes you feel blessed and blissed.

How good it feels to watch a director pick up a pertinent issue and convert it into a perky precocious and endearing rom-com which is less rom and, ahem, a whole lot of cum. Indeed “Vicky Donor” is suffused with delectable plus points, not the least of them being debutant Ayushmann Khurrana who seems to be born to play Vicky the…er donor.

Ayushmann-God bless his spontaneity-has formidable competition in the acting department from Kamlesh Gill and Dolly Ahluwalia who play his grandmom and mom, and from the redoubtable Annu Kapoor who as the sperm doctor, adds so much to his role and to the film you wonder why he isn’t seen more often in our films.

Each character is written with a keenness for details that go a long way in giving them a life beyond the camera.

Delhi, done to death in film after film, re-awakens in “Vicky Donor”. Kamaljeet Negi’s cinematography makes no overt attempt to explore the city through the topography. Shoojit Sircar’s splendid direction takes us into the heart of Delhi. The people, their homes and specially their spoken language come alive in ways that cinema has ceased to offer in recent times. Titan has signed Katrina Kaif and Farhan Akhtar as brand ambassadors for Titan Raga and Xylys respectively. According to the brand, Kaif will play a key role for Raga in shaping brand communication on television, print, outdoor and other media. Wearing a mini-dress in metallic colours and her famous pout, set against a purple background, Kareena’s energy is palpable by just looking at the cover.

Salman Khan is grateful to the actress for giving a nod and has now decided to payback by gifting her a BMW.

After the UTV Motion Pictures’ senior manager Prithwish Ganguly tweeted “@BeingSalmanKhan to gift Kareena Kapoor a BMW for being a part of Dabangg 2”, the buzz that Salman is going to give this special gift to Kareena started doing the rounds.

Recently, we have heard that Kareena Kapoor will be performing an item number for Dabangg 2. Right now the newest buzz is that Kareena Kapoor who is currently occupied shooting Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine will shoot an item number for the movie.

“We have a brand new item song called Halkat Jawani which is a fantastic track that will be picturised on Kareena Kapoor. I am sure the viewers will enjoy this song. This movie Heroine will be a different sort of movie for Kareena Kapoor,” Bhandarkar told. The director claims 40 percent of the shooting has been finished and the film will tentatively hit the cinema globally in September.

“Forty percent of the movie has been finished. From (April) 10th, we will once again have a nonstop shooting and by September the movie will be released,” he said. Bhandarkar also rubbishes the report that the movie is centered on Manisha Koirala`s life.

“This film is not based on Manisha Koirala. It is completely incorrect. Lot of things had been written about the movie before. I have created a character called Mahi Arora who is today`s girl. The movie is all about how she witnesses the ups and downs in her life,” he sai
